  • Send your file to a stranger's number, then stare at it waiting for the blue ticks.
  • You only find out the price at the counter.
  • Asking “is it done yet?” every ten minutes.
  • Plug your flash drive into the shop's PC, bring a virus home.
  • Stuck in the queue at the shop, waiting for your file to get its turn.

Chats piling up, files slipping through, customers asking “is it done yet?”

  • Customer files sinking somewhere between the family group and the neighbourhood chat.
  • Asking every single order: how many pages? colour? what size?
  • Chased with “is it done yet?” while the printer's still going.
  • Customers' flash drives passing viruses to your counter PC.
  • Closing time, and you're still working out who paid.
  • A phone full of other people's PDFs.
  • No financial records. This month's takings are a guess.

Printer Awan drops your file straight into the print shop's queue. The shop takes it from there.

Before: Waiting for a reply
Now: Pick a shop on the map, or scan the QR code on its counter. Upload from your phone. Done.
Before: Mystery pricing
Now: Choose the paper size, colour or black and white, and how many copies. The total shows up before you send.
Before: “Is it done yet?”
Now: The status moves by itself on your phone. Just glance at it.
  1. Pending
  2. Printing
  3. Ready for pickup
Before: Flash drive + virus
Now: Files go up from your phone. Your flash drive stays in your bag.
Before: Queueing at the shop
Now: No more queueing. Come in when it says Ready for pickup, say your pickup code, take it home. Codes never use O, 0, I or 1, so nobody mixes them up. Example pickup code: K7PQ

Enough. Move the queue over here.

Orders land in your shop's dashboard, not your personal chats. Your phone goes back to being a phone.

Before: Buried files
Now: Every order lands in one list, with the file, the paper options and the price.
Before: Twenty questions per order
Now: Customers pick the size, colour and copies themselves. The price works itself out from your price list.
Before: “Is it done yet?”
Now: Move the order along and the customer sees it. No replying one by one. Bad file? Reject it with a reason.
  1. Pending
  2. Printing
  3. Ready for pickup
Before: Strangers' flash drives
Now: Customers upload from their phones. Nobody's flash drive goes near your counter PC.
Before: Chasing payments
Now: Mark each order paid, or add your QRIS so customers pay ahead and attach the transfer proof. At closing, the day's recap exports to CSV.
Before: Phone storage full
Now: Files delete themselves about 14 days after the order's done. Need to keep one? Download it first.
Before: No financial records
Now: The shop report adds up revenue, what is still unpaid and pages printed, by day or by month, next to the period before.
Demo. The shops, files and prices are made up.
  1. Find or scan

Open the map to find one nearby, or scan the QR poster at the shop.

  2. Upload, check the price

PDF, Word or an image, up to 10 MB. The price shows before you send.

  3. Watch it move

Pending, Printing, Ready for pickup. The page updates itself.

  4. Pick it up

Show your pickup code. Pay at the counter, or pay ahead with QRIS if the shop takes it.

Example daily report. The numbers aren't real.

Up and running in three steps

  1. List your shop

Name, address, a pin on the map, paper sizes, black-and-white and colour prices, and your opening hours.

  2. Put up the QR poster

Print it from your dashboard and stick it by the counter. Whoever scans it lands on your shop's upload page.

  3. Take orders

Orders arrive as Pending. Print, move the status along, hand it over when the customer says their code.

no shop yet, just a printer at home?

Print from home

Printer at home gathering dust? Make it pay.

No storefront, no sign. The printer you use for the kids' homework is enough to serve neighbours, students renting rooms nearby and anyone else around you. They send files through Printer Awan, you print them, and they come by to pick up.

Before: A dusty printer in the corner
Now: The same printer can print homework, letters and forms for people nearby. Every page is paid for.
Before: Want a business, but no shop
Now: Your home shows on the Printer Awan map as a place to print, with your prices and opening hours.
Before: Dreading orders over chat
Now: Orders land in your dashboard with the file, paper options and price, so you don't have to ask about each one.

Start with the printer you have

  1. List your printer

Add a name, drop a pin on the map, then set your black-and-white price, colour price and opening hours. Once saved, your printer shows on the Printer Awan map for people nearby.

  2. Print and hand over

Orders come into your dashboard. Once printed, mark it Ready for pickup, then hand it over when the customer reads out their pickup code.

A rough sum
20 black-and-white pages × Rp1.000Rp20.000
5 colour pages × Rp2.000Rp10.000
A dayRp30.000

A month, open 25 days Rp750.000

Rough numbers, before paper and ink. How many orders you get depends on your neighbourhood.

Open when it suits you
Set opening hours for each day, more than one window if you like. Say, mornings after the school run and again in the afternoon.
Take a day off any time
Away, or out of ink? Switch off Active. Your printer stays off the map until you switch it back on.
You set the prices
Choose your own black-and-white and colour price for each paper size. Customers see it before they send.
Every rupiah is yours
Customers pay you in cash or by your QRIS. No sign-up fee, no cut.
